Summary: A good cast, but not enough story or character development
Comment: This is actually one of Lau Kar Wing's better efforts as a director. The story isn't bad, just too boring. Once the leader of a crime family dies, his sons look to take revenge. Andy Lau does fine, but Max Mok and Norman Chu are the only actors that really shine in their roles. The end features some outstanding action, but doesn't make up for the rest of the movie. If you get bored, just fastforward to the last 10 minutes because some of this stuff is seriously on the level of 'Hardboiled'. Not only do you have shootouts, there's some great hand to hand fights and it gets very brutal. This is just one of the hundreds of Hong Kong Triad movies made, and it's very easy to see why it has been long forgotten. 2.5/5

DVD from Universe Laser and Video has good picture quality and uncountable errors in the subtitles.
