Summary: Impressive Dance Movie -- But the Ending????
Comment: Overall, I loved this film. It showcases Andy Lau's dancing talent beautifully. He owns a small dance studio and dreams of owning a large successful dance studio. The rich bitch's character is not fully fleshed out in my opinion. However, that is not the case with the financially challenged plain Jane. Her character is described and acted to perfection. Andy Lau is his wonderfully charming self. He speaks a bit of English in this movie which is nice and unexpected. I was, for the most part, totally entertained by this movie until the last ten or fifteen minutes. Then it seemed to derail, at least for me. The ending was odd and not in keeping with the rest of the movie. It was a letdown. But, with that said, 90% of this movie is great! It's funny and moving, and there is an outrageous eclectic diversity among Andy Lau's dance students. It's definitely worth owning. The ending isn't so terrible that it will ruin the movie for you, especially if you are an Andy Lau fan, as I am.
