Customer Rating: Summary: R.I.P Jason Voorhees...YEAH RIGHT!!! Comment: At the beginning of the movie, the FBI blow Jason to bits. Because a black coroner eats Jason's heart, Jason comes back to life in other people's bodies. I usually love gore scenes, but there are a couple of scenes in Jason Goes to Hell that I just can't watch. A bounty hunter named Creighton Duke finds out how to 'really' kill Jason. Only a Voorhees can kill him.Throughout the film, Jason switches from body to body 'and hoping the next leap, will be the leap home.' (Just kidding, Quantum Leap fans.) Really, Jason in the hockey mask is only shown twice in the entire movie. If you love Jason, you might like JASON GOES TO HELL: THE FINAL FRIDAY!!! It's also cool that this kinda has a little prequel leading to FREDDY VS. JASON!
Customer Rating: Summary: Jason is finally done??? Comment: Nope, Hollyweird decided to inflict Jason X on us, which I have never seen.
This one started out good.
The military finally wise up and send in an elite team to tackle the freak.
By now the body count from the series must be around 1000 people.
What took the government so long to act?
Anyway, a great beginning.
The movie goes downhill fast after that.
Bad acting, bad script and Freddy's claw at the end?
Absurd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A dreadful ending to a dreadful series.
If your new the this series, go with the original and part two. Maybe part seven if your in the mood for a good laugh.
Otherwise............
AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!
Customer Rating: Summary: Just when you thought it was safe to watch sequels again!! Comment: When you think JASON is dead surprise he's back...Jumping from body to body.
Only from a VOORHEES can he live or die.
I gotta say the idea is original, but the idea in general is stupid.
The invasion of JASON VOORHEES, the boy has died every way imaginable.
So let him rest in peace!!
I rate this movie a 7 from 1to10!!
Customer Rating: Summary: garbagex9 Comment: This movie was boring and whack again like all the friday the 13th movies were, wow not even close he just blew up and a stupid black guy ate some of his remaining's and he turned into what jason was a evil phyco this movie was so whack.
Customer Rating: Summary: An Underappreciated Horror Movie Comment: "Jason Goes to Hell" is a great entry into the series and isn't the same story that had been played seven movies before it where Jason kills people who go to Crystal Lake. This movie has things that any horror fan would love; melting people and tons of killing. No, it doesn't have much of "Jason" as you know him-but it is the same character. That is the difference between this and the fifth movie, this is actually still Jason, even though he is in different bodies.
Watching this and seeing the Necronomicon from the Evil Dead series appear on the film makes me sad that Ash won't be in the next Freddy vs. Jason movie. It would be a great intro into the next film, just like Freddy's hand was a prelude to FvJ.
Overall, I loved it. I saw this movie as a kid and just watched it again and I thought it was great. It has great special effects and an interesting story that is a change of pace. So, it depends on what you like. If you watch the movie just to see a hockey mask killer, then you won't like it that much. But if you like something different, this will be for you. But what you have to remember, it is still Jason that is the killer. Halloween III didn't have Michael in it in any way, shape or form. So, there is no comparison.
