Summary: Too cheap to function set
Comment: It's great that these films are available, some good ones (Morocco) some bad ones (Golden Earrings) some in good condition (The Devils Is a Woman) some barely watchable. But in any case this set is so cheaply done that mine stopped being able to be read in any dvd device after less than a year. 4 movies crammed onto just 1 dvd
can't be a good thing. Better to buy the individual dvd's available in europe than this piece of crap.

Comment: The only film in this collection worth watching is Golden Earrings with Dietrich and Ray Milland. A fantastic adventure film for the whole family. A small price to pay for one of the best films to come out of Hollywood.

Summary: Good quality for a great price
Comment: I was suspicious of the 3 DVD package at first - thinking that the quality would be lacking. However, I was pleasantly surprised that all the films were from very good quality prints. The package is clearly worth double the price. It's true - there are no extras, but that doesn't bother me. This is a great value for outstanding entertainment & a must have for any Marlana Dietrich fan! Now, if somebody like Criterion would only release a restored version "Shanghai Express" on DVD!
