The Librarian: Return to King Solomon's Mines is the highly-anticipated sequel to the popular TNT original movie The Librarian: Quest for the Spear. Noah Wyle ("ER") reprises his role as Flynn Carsen the nerdy yet precocious librarian who was called to protect the world's greatest secrets. Along with Wyle much of the original cast including Bob Newhart Olympia Dukakis and Jane Curtin return for another round of rip-roaring pulse-pounding adventure. In addition the lovely Gabrielle Anwar (Scent of a Woman) joins the cast to accompany Carsen in his mission to save the world's most valuable treasures. The Librarian: Return to King Solomon's Mines is directed by Jonathan Frakes ("Star Trek: The Next Generation") with Dean Devlin (Independence Day The Patriot) serving as executive producer. Summary: Excellent Movie!
Comment: We think it is an excellent movie!! As a family we like to choose movies that are fun and interesting. This one is really great and we watch it often. We have both Librarian Movies!!! Great family movie night stuff!!! Pop lots of popcorn and enjoy!!!

Summary: Just Entertainment.
Comment: Not as good as the first movie. But still worth watching. There is too much reliance on parodies. The story and the production are just too silly and predictable, but it is still entertaining. As example; the couple is chased thru the old streets (like Indiana Jones was), but here they are fired upon with automatic weapons from twenty feet behind, and all shots misses.

Summary: The Librarian?
Comment: Watching this movies was much like seeing STAR WARS for the first time. Not the dramatic visuals of this great movie but the tongue-in-cheek, sometimes not so subtle visuals. A better cast I cannot imagine with Bob Newhart and Jane Curtin. Cannot wait for the third movie to be released.

Comment: This is the second of the Librarians and it is full of fun and adventure. I have bought several of the Libraian movies for myself and my family members. We all love them and can't wait for the next one to come out. Noah Wyle is perfect for this role. He brings the character to life and gives it a real personality. The cast is great and the story has some interesting twists.
