Summary: not an easy job....
Comment: This DVD is the conclusion of "Book and Sword," a complicated story of an attempt to convince a Chinese emperor that he is not who he thinks he is. This plot is set against a background love story of two members of the "Red Flower Society" and the emperor's obsession with the female member of the pair. Taken from the long and complicated first novel of Louis Cha, it does a good job of teasing out some of the main themes and stringing them into a (semi)coherent narrative.
