"World Trade Center is a film about heroism and the best in all of us," raves Good Morning America’s Joel Siegel. Academy Award winner, Nicolas Cage stars in the unforgettable true story of the courageous rescue and survival of two Port Authority policemen who were trapped in the rubble on September 11, 2001 after they volunteered to go in and help. Academy Award winning director, Oliver Stone reveals an intimate look at the events of the day as seen through the eyes of the survivors, their families and their rescuers

Customer Rating: Summary: Not Oliver's best, but still not bad. Comment: So I had seen this movie a while ago in theaters. I've always liked Oliver Stone films (i.e. Platoon, J.F.K, and Born on the Fourth of July). I thought that this film was a little under rated. Granted it's not his best, but is still one of Stone's better, recent films. The film has a lot of heart, and celebrates the American spirit on a day when it seemed like it was almost lost. A very moving, and touching film.
Customer Rating: Summary: heart breaking!!! Comment: This movie was amazing!!! i loved it, it was sad, heartbreaking, well written all of the great thing you want in a movie!!!
Customer Rating: Summary: This film does not do justice to the TRUE Heroes of 911. Comment: The men who died and risked their lives were true heroes, and true men of honor, not this band of candy-coated liberal sissies that made the movie.
I'm sorry they missed the chance to film a movie that would truly honor the fallen and be a memorial to them. This is just another heap of Hollywood and Liberal media style bs.
Oh please. Of all people to play the part of a heroic paramedic risking his life to save others, Nicholas Cage? Cage? The talentless actor who makes millions per year, couldn't act his way out of a paper bag, doesn't even do the minimum expected that any of us would do if we were in such a fortunate position--working out, fixing his male pattern baldness, taking acting lessons, looking decent, etc. If anything, he is the OPPOSITE of the character he was casting.
Storyline does not even remotely follow the truth about what happened that day among the real people the story was supposed to be about.
Shame on everyone who created this film. Very sorry job.
Customer Rating: Summary: Brilliant film Comment: This is a brilliant story. It follows a police officer and shows another side of september 11. It is fiction, but at the same time is close to the truth. (I might be wrong about that actually, it might be a true story) Forgive me for not having the full facts on it before typing this review. It is well worth seeing all the same.
Customer Rating: Summary: it was excellent Comment: i bought this movie because i thought it might be good but when i watched it it was way way better then i thought it would be. i cried and cried watching this movie and for a guy that is pretty unusual.for all you people out there never go by other reviewers. you have to see it for yourself. thank you.
