Shaolin Legend captures the energy of the kung-fu stage show recorded live on February 8, 2006. With daunting stunts, the monks display their resistance to pain and their ability to control body and mind. They break wooden poles and iron bars over each other s heads, crush Chinese bowls with their bare fingers, and pierce glass plates with a single needle. With breath-taking speed and agility, they display their mastery of sword and pole fights, their sense of balance and physical as well as mental endurance.

Comment: I rate this 4 stars because it was not as good as Shaolin Wheel of Life, but it was still great to watch once through.

Summary: Great production quality, but that is it.
Comment: The production quality is very good, and the African beat music is also very good (even if it doesn't match the sloppy gymnastics by Chinese performers), but the circus tricks are poorly done, the acrobatics are sloppy, and their supposed kung fu is attrocious.

Comment: This is the true Shaolin Kung-Fu Spectacular! It's a much better DVD than Wheel of Life. No cheesy acting, or goofball mimics. Everything is real! The stunts, and the weapons. Great Booklet to go with it.
