Enthusiastic, big and a little clumsy, Po works in his family’s noodle shop while daydreaming about becoming a Kung Fu master. Comment: Enjoyable at least for families with children over 8. There's a lot of cartoon violence (of course, it is Kung Fu, so you need to expect fighting), but the story is basically a good one. We got the double pack and frankly, I'm not sure the short feature was worth the extra charge, but my daughter enjoyed it.

Comment: This is a clever, funny, and well-done movie for kids and adults, several notches above earlier Dreamworks Animation features. Highly recommended.

Summary: Quickly a favorite
Comment: I wasn't sure how excited I was to see this movie, but it has quickly become one of my favorites. The animation is top notch, and the cast is star studded, though I have to admit I had to watch the special features to put faces with voices. It seemed to me that this movie would be the typical "unlikely hero that changes into one" story, but the way that "Po" is written adds spice to this genre of character. It was nice to see a chubby hero for a change. You will laugh and be amazed at the kung fu moves and the speed of the story. A definite must see.
